About Unitarian Universalism, a liberal religious faith, and a new group starting in Metro Manila
Unitarian Universalism is a liberal religion, grounded in the free and responsible search for truth and meaning. We are a progressive Christian faith, affirming and promoting the worth and dignity of every person, and growing spiritually through the use of reason, tolerance and freedom. We are a spiritually-alive, radically-inclusive, justice-centered religious community, focused on deeds, not creeds.
A new Unitarian Universalist discussion group is meeting weekly on Thursdays from 6-8pm. We have been blessed with the generosity of the Peacemakers Circle in Loyola Heights, and are utilizing their space beginning Thursday October 12th. Newcomers, liberal religious seekers, social justice activists, progressive Christians, are invited to join us for our weekly gatherings.
Our mission is to minister to persons who seek the freedom to exercise their God given gift of religious expression. We believe that all individuals be encouraged to developed their own personal theologies, and to present openly their religious opinions without fear of oppression or censure.
